Tiger of the week

• Tiger of the week goes to Steven Lamb; this is the second time Steven has received this award this year. Steven continues to show that he is one of the top 160 lb. wrestlers coming out of region one. Steven went 5-0 remaining undefeated for the day during competition at Regional duels. Steven’s season record is 17-5. Steven lost a couple of matches early in the season but was able to gain victories over two of those opponents in the last couple of tournaments. Steven holds the team record for most takedowns in one season, which is currently at 52; 18 more than anyone on the tiger squad. Steven has really turned things on the last couple of weeks, he went from being a maybe 4th seed in the region to a possible one seed.
